OH MY UPDO’S

Hair & Makeup is a big part of every brides day. Take a look at these fun, flirty and oh so romantic trends featuring our beautiful faux blooms. Featured in New Jersey Bride Magazine!  Thanks to The Capelli Shop  for styling these hair and makeup trends and Neil T. from The Pros Weddings for capturing these glamourous looks!

The classic updo is the go to for many brides. From French twists to low chignons and messy buns there are endless styles to choose from! We’re showcasing 3 looks that we know you’ll love! You can go hi with a ballerina bun, low with loopy layers or somewhere in the middle with pinned up ringlet curls. Not sure what look will work best with your veil? Here’s my tips!

  1. Go for an updo piled high upon your head when you want your veil tucked in low and long.
  2. Opt for a lower hair style when you want your veil sitting at the crown of your head bringing it front and center.
  3. An updo that lands somewhere in the middle is perfect for a birdcage veil, a floral accent or headpiece.

3 Romantic Wedding Day Do's We Love! Are you looking for the perfect style for your unruly long locks and not in love with the idea of an updo? We’ve got 3 romantically sweet and simple dos for your big day! These looks showcase simple no fuss styles with side sweeps, twists, ties and knots that portray effortless elegance. Check out my tips and tricks for keeping your loose locks looking their best all night long.

  1. Don’t skip the shampoo! Do wash your hair and get a blow out the day of your wedding. When your hair is going to be styled down, fresh and clean is the way to go!
  2. Have your stylist set your hair with large rollers before styling it to create big romantic waves and lots of volume.
  3. Don’t be afraid to use some temporary hair extensions. While your natural hair may lose its shape after a long day, your borrowed locks will still be going strong adding texture, volume and highlighted color.

Short Hair Don't Care! Don’t despair if your hair isn’t going to be luciously long for your big day. We’ve got 3 sleek and stylish hairdo’s for brides with short locks. From romantic waves to retro fringe and slicked back and sexy, these looks are show stoppers. Add beading, an applique or ornate chandelier earrings for a touch of glamour and unexpected style.
